Well the house is built and I'm kinda busy at work. So I have not had a chance to post as much as I would like. I spent Friday measuring the size of about 100 holes and slots. They area bout 0.010-inch big so it takes a while to do the measurement. Scan object at 2400 dpi, place in CAD program measure hole or slot, write down, measure next one. It turns out my scanner and software actually can be used to measure the sizes to the nearest 0.0002 inches accurately. Beats using a reticular eyepiece on a microscope. Got a couple of more of the neighbors houses shot last Saturday, so as soon as I clean them up I get them on the web. About 1/3 of the homes have been finished but I like to catch them with no cars in front so it takes a while. My new next door neighbor has a real interesting house, lots of vaulted ceilings and the like. The electrician just started this week so it still has a way to go.
